Here Is a list of online resources to help you fill a variety of needs: Learn The Basics: The Student Handbook quickly shows you the structure of AMTA and AMTAS so that you can easily see how make the most out of your membership. Research: Full text articles from the Journal of Music Therapy, Music Therapy, Music Therapy Perspectives, and the Arthur Flagler Fultz Research Fund from 1964 through 2008 on the Music Therapy Research Flash Drive. The World Federation of Music Therapy (WFMT) provides international information on education, clinical practice, and research in music therapy. The new WFMT Publication Center hosts the musictherapyworld archive, including back issue of Music Therapy Today. Voices acts as a library to showcase an international profile of music therapy and is the home of journal articles, columns and discussions. The Nordic Journal of Music Therapy shares many music therapy research articles. The Music Therapy Research Blog is an independently run resource created to provide research on the use of music therapy. Podcasts: Information from music therapists to you through the AMTA.pro online symposium. imagine, AMTA’s new online magazine for early childhood also offers topic-specific podcasts. Blogs: A list of music related blogs, written by students and professionals can be found at the Erfurt Music Resource’s Information page. Find American Music Therapy Association: To find other AMTA members in your area (both professional and student) call the main office at 301-589-3300. Certification Board for Music Therapists: Look for Board Certified Music Therapists in your area by using their search feature. Use Music Therapy in the Media: A list of music therapy in the press can be found through the AMTA website. These articles can be used when developing new music therapy programs and positions. Free Music: Download original music from Chuck Wild through the AMTA website. Scholarships: A variety of scholarships that are only offered to AMTA members can be found through the AMTA website. Connect AMTA: Get updates from AMTA right in your inbox by signing up for the MusicTherapyENews. Connect Project: Get connected with music therapy students worldwide through the WFMT project. LinkedIn: It’s never too early to start establishing your professional self. Facebook: There are many individual music therapists and music therapy groups through this website.
