Passages is a FREE symposium for students by students. It provides opportunities for students to present music therapy research, talk about their experiences, and network with other student music therapists across the country.
Visit (link TBA) to register for Passages! Student presenters will discuss their interests and research in the music therapy field, redefining and sharing their perspectives on what music therapy means to our future, professionalism, and progress, focusing on community and engagement.
Directly following our student passage event, the AMTAS board would like to invite you to join us, along with music therapy professionals in a round table discussion event. This event will be led by student leaders from our AMTAS executive board and music therapy professionals who work with different populations. Each breakout room will be designated for different interests in populations, where students can join in the breakout room, connect and meet with other students who have similar interests, and have access and opportunity to talk about their student experiences. There is also an opportunity to ask questions to the professional music therapist who works with that population and make new friends from across the country. This event is meant for you to share your student music therapy journey, so be ready to share, talk, and have fun! |
