How to Get Involved
The following officers (except President-Elect) are elected by Student Members during the General Business Meeting at each AMTA National Conference in the Fall for a year-long term: President, Vice President, Parliamentarian, Secretary, and Treasurer. If you would like to know more take a look at the AMTAS Bylaws or email one of your officers.
Nominations will open a month before National Conference. Then at the first General Business Meeting floor nominations will be taken. Nominations will close at the end of the first General Business Meeting.
Regional officers are elected at regional conferences in Spring each year. Check with your region and representatives to see those that are available to you!
Representatives are chosen each Spring and attend meetings during the AMTA National Conference in the Fall. See Standing Committees for more information.
